Hello and welcome to Tim’s blog. The main focus of this blog is to discuss and analyze some of the topics and events changing the media and design and tech world, today and in the future. The name of the blog is simply derived from my middle name Franklin.
I recently completed a management degree at the University of York, where I was awarded Runner up in the Real World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for my progress in developing and starting up Magik3 Design Studios during University as well as the York Award Business award, a certification awarded by the University.
I have been heavily involved in activities at York, working at the University of York Student’s Union as a graphic designer and I was recently elected in to the role of Student Union President (track my progress @yusupres) held the Graphics Editor position at Bad Taste Magazine for 2 years and also held the role of President/Chair of Fusion 2009, a fashion dance and music show in aid of charity with £15,000 fund-raising target for World Vision and Barnardo’s Spring Hill School, £5000 more than in 2008.
