Once again at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2010 , the Microsoft keynote had to go wrong in some way or form, this time the power cut out just as the presentation was about to start delaying it start by about 15 minutes. Amongst the products unveiled, the HP prototype tablet PC which looked nice but just showcased much of the same user interface we’ve already seen in Windows 7 and devices like the Kindle.
Project Natal, Microsoft’s motion detection controller, was projected to be launched around Easter 2010 . The HTC HD2 also got a small shout out but if you get a chance to watch the keynote, look at the insane fingerprint marks on that phone!. Windows mobile is due to get an update at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February 2010. with Windows Mobile 7 hopefully getting a release, everything else was an amalgamation of Ballmer “thanking technology” and bigging up Microsoft services we already knew about. If you have the patience and want to see the keynote, the show’s ready to roll below (your going to need to download Microsoft Silverlight though)
