The last few days have been busy at my end and posts have taken a hit. It sounds a bit cliche’ but i honestly couldn’t manage myself without my @blackberry . A boy genius report yesterday showed images of the upcoming Blackberry Curve 8520 , which i must say looks like the Niagra which looks like the Javeline or 8900 ( with a few glossy bits and bobs added or taken out ),… somewhat uninspiring, anyways, on a search to find something new I went onto the recently launched Blackberry Appworld and had a browse and play with a few Apps to see if any new apps could infiltrate my Top 5. As an athlete, the All Sport GPS app grabbed my attention, however it’s not the same as a Nike+Ipod pack and Twike to go with it so sadly didn’t make the cut as an app i need on my BBerry, so my top five remains as follows.
Top 5
| Facebook:
Does exactly what it suggests and if you havent got this on your BBerry yet then where have you been? Get to the appworld and download this straight away. If you already have it, Make sure you update to the new version ! |

TwitterBerry:
For twiiterholics who can’t leave the service alone, this is yet another way of staying in touch with Twitter. Also look out for Uber Twitter which is currently on Beta. |
| Opera Mini:
The blackberry browser is sufficient for fairly minor browsing requirements but Opera Mini for Blackberry is far better. It not only performs better but loads a much larger range of pages than the standard browser would. The download link took me ages to find but now you can have it SMS your way on the Opera Mini site. |

Viigo:
Simply put, the best info app that exists for the BBerry. This app reads your RSS channels, Google Reader account, updates, on stocks, weather, sports , traffic and the list goes on and on. Like the Facebook app, get this on your phone before you click another link. It’s available in the app-world or here. |

Google Maps:
Google maps is standard, in-fact I’m not sure why they don’t scrap blackberry maps and just ship the phone with this preinstalled, especially when Blackberry Maps uses the same maps as Google and looks worse and works slower. Back to the point, its available in the app-world. |
