The WayBackMachine is an Internet archive that records the history of the net. The site’s a neat toy to play with, looking at Yahoo and Google in 1996 or 1999, makes the Internet world then feel like decades ago. On the site, you’ll also find some collections, the best being one that highlights the sites that played a pivotal role in establishing the Internet.
The artwork up top is by blackattack on deviantArt, converses with a cassette boom-box, it doesn’t get more old-school than that !
